To become aware of your own previous incarnations is a worthy consideration for any type of healing.  Not only do we have this life that we're living, including its relationships, to take into consideration we also have the previous three or five, or however many more tangled lives to look at when retrieving pieces of the self.  I'm going to set aside personal belief, and the irrational discussions that could follow, for just a moment now and assume that spiritual awareness is the key fundamental step you'll need to know.  To become aware of something is to become closer to knowing its truth, or essence, whether this essence remains tangible or not, and whether this essence remains religious in nature, or not.  In Zen Buddhism, for example, there are different types of awareness or stages of enlightenment.  In shamanism, the same, and for our purposes we'll be discussing how to connect with your benevolent spiritual allies, how to work with them extra-dimensionally, a...
As I sat down to write this morning, everything changed.  Everything changed from the intended title to the image, to the content itself.  And one reason it changed is due to the fact that I stayed in bed this morning to finish a dream. I was going to comment on punctuation, and grammar, and word choices, but it didn't seem relevant.  It didn't seem that it would matter as much if I were to change the direction of what I was doing, and how that was being accomplished.  I even had an image from a Columbus-based artist already picked out.  It was something we had done before, so I passed on its blatant memory.  Have you ever woken up to a clean slate?  Have you ever dreamt of a conclusion that is drawing near? I woke up with that stale sensation from my dreams.  That sensation that we had done this before, well, that the same cast of characters was still playing the same roles as if nothing has changed since.  You get the same sensation when the same people are still tellin...
There's a lot of speculation regarding a person's ability to perceive past, present, and future events and how those perceptions affect the choices that we're making in the here and now.  There's even more doubt when one takes into account how this knowledge is transferred from one sentient being to another, and how that information comes to us.  For some, extended periods of meditation can result in a visionary experience, while others can express the same level of clairvoyance and psychic telemetry in just a moment of instantaneous insight. A lot of people make the assumption that prophets are fraudulent or misconceived through their efforts with their relationship to our spiritual ancestors.  Our spiritual ancestors, as you may know, are most often described as celestial beings of light, that occur on more than one plane of existence, and can serve more than one purpose for us, here on Earth.  This isn't to say that these beings don't walk among us, they ...
First of all, I practice shamanism with a subsequent lay practice of Zen Buddhism.  I begin with shamanism, or neo-shamanism as some mainstreamers would say of it, as it directly reflects a series of awakenings that I experienced before leaving active duty from the Marine Corps.  These experiences, as unexpected as they were, were shamanic in nature and served as precursors to a more extensive spiritual inquiry that I processed while attending Kent State University.  These gateways, as raw and unambiguous as they are, were also the stepping stones for a more formal relationship that was developed with Spirit, and shamanic allies, in a safe, supportive, environment, and one that has led to deeper levels of awakening. Unsatisfied with the lack of structure, and probably discipline, associated with this type of spirituality, I then explored the world of the Dharma, and specifically Zen Buddhism.  Buddhism has long served as an interest in my own spirituality and in the early '00s ...
A long time ago, one way that I found my way out of darkness, was with listening.  This isn't to say the listening is free from the choice that made it, it's only to say that with music, everything is usually better.  There was actually an offshoot of interests that I once clamored with, and that was spotlighting a variety of musicians for the audience to enjoy and to practice the art of listening with.  True, silence is generally defined as an authentic source of healing, although in this case, and in the future, we'll be using the space between the sounds as a declination point, and to help us center and align our lives. Whenever I do this, play professional musicians' music and tones, I never intend to steal or infringe upon their inherent copyright protections.  I simply want to share their sound, with you, for the sake of finding your own rhythm and to enhance your listening abilities.  I think, I'm not sure, but I think at this point, and since the videos ...
