Prophecies – Philip Glass

The Watchmen

For this Friday's update, we're going to take a quick spin around the web with the wonderful Philip Glass.  I've frequently received requests to continue with Koyaanisqatsi, before returning to Naqoyqatsi, which we'll do with a future update.  And for those of you that are familiar with this musical score, we can look back at 2009 with the original release of the Watchmen, for a better understanding of how this story unfolds, and where our work began.  In the meantime, I'm going to let the past be there so that we may move forward, and into a more meaningful place of being.

There was a point in time when I devoted a fair amount of my energy into the movie-making process, but it didn't work out in my favor.  Even now as I write this, I'm quietly reminded of what a distraction that may have become with regards to my own creative and healing process.  While I can't, and I won't, knock any or all of the Hollywood types, as I've learned that there are truly genuine people that are working in the industry, I will say that there are a few players in particular that are not as they appear to be.  And at this point in time, instead of forcing my opinion upon you, I'll let you decide on who that may, or may not be and if that's worth investigating on your own behalf.
